Most of our clients stay in their homes while we’re painting and the honest answer is simple, we work with you.

We’ll work with you around bedrooms, living areas, kids, pets and whatever else is happening in the house.

We'll turn up each day with a friendly smile and a ''good morning'', chat about our plans for the day with you as needed and get to it. There will obviously be some disruption, we are painting your home after all, but we do our best to make it as easy, clean and safe, as possible.

We take protection seriously, because a great paint job means absolutely nothing if your floors, furniture or belongings get damaged or painted along the way.

Before we start, we’ll move and/or cover furniture as needed, protect floors properly, and keep our work areas tidy throughout the job.

We’ve got systems for this because your home isn’t just another job site to us. We treat it with the same care and respect we’d expect if someone was working in our own home and at the end of the day everything is neat, tidy and safe if we are back tomorrow.

Once you’ve accepted the quote, we don’t just disappear until start day.

We’ll stay in touch leading up to the job and confirm everything with you beforehand. Timing and dates, access, colours, what needs to be moved and anything else we need to have sorted.

You’ll know what’s happening and when.

We don’t expect you to sit there wondering whether the painters are actually turning up.

Colours can look completely different on a small sample compared to an entire room and sheens add even more questions!

That’s why we’re happy to help you narrow things down and recommend testing colours where needed before committing to the whole lot. Expert guidance is part of what we do.

Our Colour Consult service can definitely help to narrow it down further if you really need. We get you 6 samples, and apply them in different areas, so you can physically see the colours in your home before settling one one.

You definitely don’t need to do the whole house.

We do everything from a couple of rooms through to complete internal and external repaints, and plenty in between. For full home repaints where the clients are living, we just break the areas down so it's not too disruptive for you. We can do as much or as little as you need in order to make it work. If you’re not sure whether to do it all at once or break it into stages, we can talk you through what makes the most sense. The main thing is starting somewhere.

We guarantee a start within 4 weeks, unless your looking to book in advance.

If you have pre planned dates that you envision you job happening in we are more than happy to work with you on those too. Our goal is to make the whole process as easy for you as possible.

No, we’re not going to make you empty your entire house.

We’ll normally ask you to move smaller items, valuables and anything fragile. We can generally work around the larger furniture, shuffling them around to give us enough space to work, and making sure everything is properly covered and protected. If there are heavy things to move we are more than happy to help, our team is young and fit and we are more than happy to go the extra mile.

We’ll tell you exactly what we need from you before we start so your not doing more than you need to.

Painting can be messy. Your house shouldn’t be.

We put a lot of effort into protection before we start and cleaning up throughout the job. Floors, furniture and anything around our work area gets looked after properly. We've also invest substantially in dustless sanders and ducted vacuums to catch all dust as we prep so your home stays cleaner and dust doesn't cover every surface in your home.

One of the biggest things we hear from clients who have had painters in the past is how clean we leave their home, and we take a HUGE amount of pride in that.

A lot of the time, yes.

Minor cracks, holes, dents and normal surface repairs are part of preparing a home properly. If there are larger repairs, plastering issues, rotten timber or something outside the normal painting scope, we'll point it out and work out the best way forward with you.

We have a list of contractors we know, trust, and recommend as well. We can also factor these works into our pricing for you if you'd like, so you dont need to call multiple people and organise 2, 3, or 4 lots of work. We often do this and organise the project as a whole so it works out best for each trade, and your home.

We'd much rather address a problem than paint straight over it, pretending it isn't there.

We hear this one A LOT.

We’re not going to pretend nothing ever changes. Weather, jobs and life can throw the odd curveball, but communication is a massive thing for us and something we value.

If something changes, we’ll tell you. You shouldn’t have to chase your painter around just to find out whether they’re showing up or not.

Yes.

There can occasionally be situations where different stages need drying time or weather changes the plan on an exterior, but we’re not interested in starting ten jobs and disappearing between all of them.

Once we start your project, our focus is getting it finished properly and getting your home back to you so we can move onto our next local legend.

We try VERY HARD to avoid surprises.

Our quotes are detailed so you understand what’s included before we begin. If we uncover something that genuinely couldn't be seen beforehand, rotten timber behind existing paint is a good example and one we've seen, we'll show you, explain it and discuss the extra cost before doing extra work. We're passionate about doing the job the right way so it lasts, and painting over problems doesn't do that. Our clients appreciate the honesty and transparency, we keep our integrity and still have pride in the work we do.

We NEVER tack things onto the bill at the end and hope you don't notice. Or explain things away after you get the bill. It's simply not how we operate.

Quite often, yes. That doesn't mean we'd automatically recommend painting absolutely everything. In-fact its quite the opposite, we want to help you not overcapitalise.

Sometimes a fresh coat through the key areas can make a massive difference. Other times, there are rooms or surfaces where the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Our quotes are highly detailed and include everything from step by step guides to products, prep, protection, coats, application methods, clean-up, defect checks and quality control, while another might simply say “paint walls and ceilings.” On paper they appear to mean similar things, but from our experience, the end result can be VERY different.
